Carmel Tynan

The body of a missing Portarlington woman was found yesterday (Thursday) evening. 

Carmel Tynan was found at her home after she was reported missing on Monday. Gardaí, civil defence and well over a hundred locals had searched for Ms Tynan during the week.

A helicopter from the Garda Air Support Unit was also dispatched as part of the search for the 54 year old woman who is from Patrick’s Avenue in the town.
