An Atlanta Hardwood Bench

A BENCH stolen from a Portarlington cemetery, placed there by a bereaved family, was returned last week after an appeal.

The bench was recently put in place by the Fanning family in front of the graves of their two daughters for their own use and for those visiting nearby graves.

It was stolen two weeks ago and the family appealed for its return with the Laois Nationalist reporting on the story last week.
