LIFE, love and laughter are the themes of a colourful yearbook produced by the Holy Family Senior NS in Portlaoise.

The richly illustrated 120-page book offers a window into life at one of Ireland’s largest primary schools and the diversity of personalities and activities that make it unique.

Launched at a ceremony in the school last week, the yearbook is the result of a collaboration between staff and students led by the editorial team of Mark Downey, Marie Barry, Garrett Malone, Des Sutton and Cathal Scarry.

The book was designed and produced by Mochua Print of Portlaoise and features articles on all aspects of school life, together with pictures, puzzles, stories and trivia.

There are contributions from principal Des Sutton, deputy principal Meree O’Sullivan and Portlaoise priest Fr Paddy Byrne CC among others, as well as several articles written by students. Priced at €12, the book is available directly from the school.
