A RANGE Rover and expensive watches have been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB), as part of an investigation into an organised crime gang involved in drug dealing nationwide.
Files, documentation and computer hard drives were also seized during the search operation yesterday morning.
The property was seized during five separate searches, as part of what gardaí describe as an ongoing investigation “targeting the assets of a significant organised crime group” involved in the sale, supply and distribution of controlled drugs nationwide.
Gardaí say that yesterday’s operation was “a significant development” in the ongoing proceeds of crime investigation.
The assets seized included a 131 Range Rover (pictured), two Rolex watches, one Breitling watch and a Longines watch
The CAB conducted the searches at five locations in Dublin and Meath garda divisions.
Computer hard drives, files and documentation were also seized and the ongoing investigation into the gang is continuing.
