Met Éireann forecasts that today some showers will fall as sleet or snow in places. While, tonight it will get very cold tonight with a sharp frost and icy patches forming early. It will be largely dry with clear spells, however isolated wintry showers may drift in from the northwest. Lowest temperatures of -3 to -1 degrees. Some mist and fog patches will form in light westerly winds.
It will be a cold start for tomorrow with frost and ice slow to clear. There will be isolated wintry showers in the morning, but most areas will have a dry and bright day. Highest temperatures of just 2 to 4 degrees, with a moderate westerly breeze, fresh at times near coasts.
Sunday will be another cold day with sunny spells and scattered showers, mainly in the north and west where some will be of sleet or snow. Showers will drift further inland through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees in a moderate west to southwest breeze.
Cold on Sunday night and dry in many areas with showers easing. Lowest temperatures of +3 to -1 degrees with frost forming.
