THE Heath GAA are appealing to the club’s friends and supporters to aid them in raising funds for a new development. As part of that they are offering a sponsorship signage package.
This consists of signs around the pitch, acknowledgement on their Facebook page, listing on The Heath Gaa website (currently being developed) and acknowledged on their club text messaging system. The club will also be encouraging members and their families to use associated businesses who contribute sponsorship to the club.
The cost will be €250 per annum and there is a very good committee behind this incentive who will be pushing it to obviously ensure businesses get something from the sponsorship.
If anyone is interested in sponsoring they should contact John Kelly on 086 8959816.
Also on the fundraising front, the Heath GAA lotto has returned by making use of the online Klubfunder app. It is intended to hold draws every Tuesday night with the first taking last Tuesday when the numbers drawn were 11, 12, 22 and 25. The €15,000 was not won but there was one Match 3 winner, Michael McNamee.
The €15,000 jackpot rolls over to the next draw on Tuesday 9 February at 9pm.
To enter download KlubApp to your phone from the Apple or Google Play stores and sign in under Klubfunder, choosing The Heath GAA Club as your club. From their you can play the lotto by picking four numbers and as many lines for as many weeks as you want.
Results will be e-mailed to entrants and posted on the club Facebook page after each draw.
Meanwhile, on the playing front, the club have appointed Shane Courtney as senior manager for the coming year with Kim Turner joining him as his S&C coach.
