Portlaoise Community Policing Unit and the Laois Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search earlier today Wednesday 24 February as part of its continuing work in tackling anti-social behaviour.

During the search they uncovered and seized drugs to a value of approximately €6,000 which included cannabis, cocaine, amphetamine and €1,350 in cash.

Also seized in the search were knives and pepper spray which are prohibited under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act.
