THERE was huge disappointment in Laois hurling circles with the news that Enda Lyons has stepped down as the county’s inder-20 hurling manager.
In a press released this morning, Laois GAA announced Lyon’s decision to step down from the position due to “personal and work commitments”. He will be replaced as manager by current selector, Ollie Hally.
They go on to say: “Laois GAA would like to acknowledge and thank Enda for his contribution to Laois hurling over the last number of years, not alone in the U/20 grade but also at minor and Talent Academy grades.
“We thank Enda for his commitment and professionalism and wish him well in his career.”
The statement continues: “Laois GAA would like to wish Ollie Hally, a current selector with the panel, the best of luck in his endeavours as he now takes over as U/20 manager.”
Any further additions to the back room team will be finalised in the coming days.
