‘Excited is the not the word’ says PJ Kavanagh in advance of the returning live music sessions to the Old Fort Quarter. It’s been over 500 days but the wait is finally over as live gigs are now returning to stages and venues around the country.

Kavanagh’s recently announced the lineup of big names who will perform from Friday, August 27 to Saturday, September 11. and the events are brought to fruition with the help of The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. In line with Covid restrictions, there will be 200 people at each of the events, each one will take place outdoors with a stretch tent to keep fans covered from the elements

Speaking in advance of the ticket launch PJ Kavanagh says: “We are delighted to bring back hundreds of musicians, crew and all the other staff that go with putting on this production! Tickets will be sold in pods of 4 and 6 and each group will have their own picnic table” 
A table service system will also be in operation “where customers can order food and drinks on their phone and we’ll bring their order to their table” he adds
For over 500 days performers have waited patiently to come back to what they love to do. Now they’re back and ready to perform
