PJ Dempsey and Seamus Brereton at PJ’s President’s prize 2020 which was finally played in October 2021

IT was a case of ‘What’s Another Year?’ at Portarlington Golf Club, as the 2020 President’s Prize finally went ahead in October 2021.

Former President PJ Dempsey had a long wait for the competiton, which had to be postponed last year due to the pandemic and was eventually held on a glorious autumn weekend this month.

It was worth the wait, as golfers enjoyed a terrific competition on the Portarlington course.
