The countdown to this year’s seasonal festivities begins in Durrow on Sunday 28 November with the switching on of the Christmas lights and the much anticipated Laois Artisan Food and Craft Market.
The Yuletide Making Spirits Bright themed activities are set to commence at 11.30am on the Village Green when the best of Irish and local artisan food and crafts are showcased.
Also included on the day will be Christmas carols from the local scout troop, music with Ray Sullivan and the Kelly brothers as well as Jeca the Clown and many more events.
The highlight of the day will see the Christmas lights switched on at 5pm.
All activity will be in line with Covid-19 regulations and all are welcome along.
