TY students from Dunamase College are busy rehearsing their first-ever musical Dunamase Here We Go Again, which will be staged in the Dunamaise Arts Cente on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May

Dunamase College Portlaoise is proud to present its first-ever musical at the Dunamaise Arts Centre on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May.

The show Dunamase Here We Go Again will commence at 7.30pm each evening, with a morning concert on Tuesday 24 at 10.30am. The musical is inspired by the worldwide smash-hit musical Mamma Mia, the plot acting as a backdrop to some of ABBA’s greatest hits. The musical will be performed by Transition Year students at Dunamase College under the watchful eye of their directors Niamh Brennan and Lauren Harding. The show is choreographed by the spectacular Niamh Ahearn from The Ahearn School of Dance. The students have been busy rehearsing over the past few months to present a spectacular event for all to enjoy. Dunamaise Here We Go Again follows a young woman Sophie Sheridan on a journey of self-discovery. On the eve of her wedding, her quest to discover her father’s identity brings three men from her mother’s past back to an island they have not visited in 20 years. She is about to be married and she wishes for only one thing, that her father walks her down the aisle and gives her away. A mother. A daughter. Three possible fathers. Who said a wedding couldn’t be full of surprises? This is an unmissable show with a talented cast. It truly is a night you will never forget. Tickets are on sale now at dunamaise.ie or through the Box Office, by calling 057 8663355. Be a super trouper and come support Dunamase College’s first school musical!
