A LUCKY jackpot winner had a great start to the weekend, scooping €14,000 in the Portlaoise Parish Lotto.

Michael O’Connor took the top prize in yesterday’s draw with winning numbers 08, 10, 18 and 25. The promoter was Paddy O’Connor.

Meanwhile, eight match 3 players (see below) won €125 each. The jackpot will revert to €10,000 in next week’s draw.

The Lotto can be played online at www.portlaoiseparish.ie with proceeds going towards churches, schools and communities in the parish.

The weekly draw is held every Thursday evening in the parish centre and can be viewed live on their website.
