Laois Archery is holding a charity fun shoot on this Sunday 4 December.

The club is holding the shoot to help raise funds for Ulemu which is a project founded by local man Evin Joyce who is the son of Tom, one of the club’s members

The fun shoot will involve a creative new scoring system where the shooters will get points helping Santa fill his sleigh, by shooting the toys. A raffle will also be held on the day.

There will also be tea, coffee, biscuits, soup and sandwiches for those who turn up on the day who bring their own travel mugs. Toilets will also be available on the day.

The event will be held in McDonald’s Forestry, Clonkeen, Portlaoise which can be accessed by exiting the M7 at Junction 18 and follow the Laois Archery signs or on the co-ordinates: 53.0092 -7.3436.

Registration takes place from 9am with shooting starting at 10am. The entry fee is €10 for adults and €5 for children.
