The nationwide Volunteers in Sports Awards recognise individual volunteers at sports clubs and organisations across the country, who give freely of their time and energy to their local club to help make sport happen.

The 2023 Volunteers in Sport Awards, supported by the National Network of 29 Local Sports Partnerships, will be celebrated on Wednesday 22 March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Blanchardstown.

The organisers are encouraging nominations for the volunteers people feel their club couldn’t do without. Nominating is easily done by filling out a short online entry form.

The closing date for nominations, Wednesday 8 February, is fast approaching. Nominations can be made by completing a short online entry form at https://volunteersinsport.ie/make-a-nomination.
