Mary McCarthy (née Comerford), Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly of Portlaoise passed away peacefully on Monday 6 February in the wonderful care of the Mater Private Hospital and Professor Denise Sadlier.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Donal and loving mother of Geraldine, Donal and Elaine.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Dermot and David, daughter-in-law Barbara, her treasured grandchildren, Maeve, Grace, Dermot, Maya, Donal and Patrick, great-grandchildren, Finn and Zoe and their father James, Grace’s fiancé Philip and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday 9 February from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 10 February at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook which may be viewed on https://donnybrookparish.ie/webcam/, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
