
Portlaoise Courthouse
A laboratory supervisor from Mountmellick, who was allegedly found with cannabis and cocaine in her possession, had her case adjourned when she appeared at Portlaoise District Court last Thursday.
The 36-year-old was summoned before the court for possessing €70 worth of cannabis and €70 worth of cocaine when she was searched at Portlaoise Garda Station on 15 September last.
The court was told that the
defendant was seeking free legal aid, as she pays €950 in rent. Granting her request to free legal aid, Judge John Brennan adjourned the case until 7 September.
