IT was like Animal Farm in Rosenallis today, with lots of four-legged friends appearing in the village’s much-loved St Patrick’s Day parade.

The beautiful village in the Slieve Blooms always has one of the smallest but also one of the most imaginative parades in the county and today was no exception.

Lambs, goats and happy crowds flocked to Rosenallis this afternoon, as the village came up roses and shamrocks to celebrate the day.
