The man wrote to the gardaí informing them that he is now residing in Bangkok, Thailand and was giving them written permission to do what they wanted with the items, which were seized on 22 April 2020.
The items for disposal were: two Apple watches; three robotic hoovers; one Fitbit; 46 Tesco sim packs; one set of Bluetooth earbuds; two sim three-packs; five flexi plan sim packs; two Swirl prepaid Mastercard packs; one Galaxy X9 phone; one Galaxy S.5 Nero phone; one iPhone; two Apple AirPods; two Ryzen computer processors; one computer hard drive; a quantity of personal, bank and post office documents; 15 bank cards and €1,190 in cash.
